How can you add atributes tot categories via import excel ?
or is this only manually possible

In which system you want import attributes ? It's Dynamics 365 CE, FO or Business central ?

If you want to use Excel to bulk edit product attributes, please refer:

Or you can import bulk entity data using Excel templates in the same way as in the blog:

Haig Liu, your two suggestions are about completely different products, therefore they definitely can't be both applied to Fred's scenario. Maybe none can; it's impossible to say without knowing which product he's interested in.
