Can we add custom fields in the contact-matching strategy for events in Dynamics 365 Marketing?

In marketing forms, we can add custom fields in the contact-matching strategy (also lead-matching strategy). It does not seem to be possible for Event Registration Marketing form. Do you have an idea how we can update the default contact-matching strategy for event registration with custom fields ?

In the event administration settings, we can update the matching strategy but only based on FirstName, LastName and Email.
