Dynamics GP 2013 R1 Customers - Need to use Korean & Japanes Symbols

Posted on by 650

We have a company that we want to show the customers in Korean and Japanese Symbols. However, when we try to import or paste the information we get question (????) marks in the fields. Is there a way to be able to add these into Dynamics GP? Are we missing something?

Be careful when it comes to the SQL collation, remember that GP only suppose 50 and 52.

    Hi DLashua:

Hope you are doing great, for any language other than English you need to make sure two things, first your sql server collation for the same language and secondly make sure the same is installed on your OS.

Once you are done, make sure while importing data into Dynamics GP your system language is same as the data.

Once done open GP and verify data, I am sure it will show you in the correct language.

    Good luck.

    Best Regards.

I believe that would fall under the fact that there is no Korean or Japanese translated versions of GP.
