I have setup a Purchase Order workflow. The workflow is functioning correctly.
The issue I am encountering is that Users cannot setup delegations for other users from the Workflow User Delegation window (accessed from User Preferences).
I have checked the security. All roles have the default user task assigned.
The default user task has assigned under system the items Directory Account Lookup and Find.
Under Company the items Workflow User delegation and Workflow User selection are assigned.
Users cannot change the Delegate task for field. The 'sa' user and power user role can change the user to delegate for field.
We would like to have all users be able to change the User to delete for field as needed without having to give everyone power user access.
Anyone encounter this before? There must be another option in security that I am missing

I know this is a year old question that was never answered... but I recall this being a bug in the GP security as only POWERUSER could select a delegate in their preferences for a workflow. Not sure if that was fixed by MS, but you can probably fix it yourself by tweaking the DEFAULTUSER security role in GP, the one that give basic permissions to all users.
