How do you setup visual studio SSRS Report(AX 2012) to point it to production server to deploy it?

For my understanding, you have to configure Visual Studio to open with a specific Microsoft Dynamics AX client configuration.
Take a look at msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg889291.aspx - Open Visual Studio with a Specific Configuration [AX 2012]
Just you have VS link to the proper Env, you can deploy your report.
However, I suggest you to move the SRS Report in Production with XPO and then deploy it from AOT.
Hi, As Denis pointed out you will need to configure it (i.e., VS) to be opened with Production Server Configuration file (With appropriate Application layer in which you want to do Development).
Of course, before doing above mentioned step, you will need to install Visual Studio tools Add-one on the Box you want to do development.
If you just want to deploy the report, then you can do it from the client.
