Management reporter formulas

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello,

I need to know how I can do this formula in the MR rows:
Row 100: Sum of 2 accounts
Row 101: Sum of 1 account
Row 102: If row 101> 0 then row 101 but 0
Row 103: Row 100 + 102
Thanks!

I tested it, and got the results that I expected.  In my original reply I didn't have the @ sign before the 2nd 101.

    I entered this:

And these are the results: (Row 102 is set to not print)

Try this and let us know if you get the desired results.

My specific question is how to make the condition of row 102.

    Thanks!

For any row that you don't want to print, you can enter NP in column 'G' (Print Control).  There are some things to consider though.  For example if you want a non-printed row to be included in calculations, you have to refer to the row(s) number(s) directly.  (100+101+102; NOT 100:102)  I suggest looking up Advanced Formatting Options, and go down to Select Print Control in a Row Definition for specifics.

I just want to see row 103.

Question - Nathaly, do you want 101 to show in the report - or do you just want to see 103 ?  Which appears to be the end result.

Just wondering as I have a similar issue and it was great to see someone else ask the question.

Row 102: If the result of row 101 is greater than 0, show me the value of row 101, otherwise it shows 0.

    Thanks!

I'm not sure what you meant for Row 102 so I guessed;-)  Also, I haven't tested this so I hope it works, and is what you need.

For Rows 100, 101, & 103 the formula is straightforward.

Row 102 could get a little tricky.
