D365 Finance and operations On premise installation for Production environment

Hi All,

I have installed D365 FO On-premises for SAT environment by using customers existing Domain and I have configured ADFS on same domain. Now I am installing Prod environment. Microsoft recommended for separate domain and ADFS for Prod environment. Can I use same domain and ADFS? If yes, then can anyone please explain me how can i get it done?

As per the Blog, Issue will be with the "Workflow client Id". And solution is there for the same.

What about the Domain? Can i use the same and what challenges would be there?

As per my knowledge I have to create New,

*DNS Zone

*Service and domain Users

*Certificates

Hi Akshay,

If you mean that you will have 2 servers(TEST AND PROD) on the same domain. The servers have each AOS instance, and they connect their own DB. I think it's ok. Just like deploying two environments.

Hi Will,

Yes, I am asking for the same. So it will be more flexible if I use same Domain for TEST and PROD. And Two ADFS for each.
