Remove GST from One company retaining it on another

Hello All,
 
We have set up two companies in our Production environment. One belong to the India region and other is in US region. Also, we have selected India as the base region while setting up the environment. Now, is there any way to disable GST taxation for US region based company? Any pointers on how to do that, if it's possible?

    I can't speak for the indian localization as I haven't worked with it, but in the NA localization in the VAT Posting Setup Page you change the VAT Calculation Type to Sales Tax. Perhaps its the same? If not hopefully other forum users can provide an answer.
     
     
    Also, is there no US functionality your US company will require? Perhaps its better to have a separate production environment with the US localization for it. Typically, that is best practice.

    @Valentin. Thanks for your response. We already have a Production environment. Now, when we try to create another production environment in admin center, we are not able to do that. It fails with message "You cannot create more than 1 production environment"

    Yes, by default you can only have one production environment. In these situations additional production environments need to be purchased.
