Weighted Revenue Field???

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by 452

I am confused where to find the Weighted Revenue Field.

I was following this example and it suggests that Weighted Revenue is a field.

But I do not see it in the list of available fields, however it does display on the Sales Pipeline report.

Is this a calculated field or an actual field?

I am using Crm 2015 Online.

Thanks

Hi, Revenue in the pipeline and other reports is calculated by taking the revenue and dividing by the probability.

the Weighted Revenue = Estimated Revenue * % Close Probability, you can create this field yourself by using a workflow or calculated field,  technet.microsoft.com/.../dn832103.aspx

Hope that answers your question :)

Raz's formula is not quite right.

It is not an out of the  box field and is best implemented using a calculated field equal to 'Est. Revenue' * ( probability/100)

Thanks Scott, Yes Make sure you multiply against the Decimal of the probability!

The Sales Pipeline report calculates the weighted revenue values on the fly.

You can create your own calculated field if you want to use this elsewhere (eg for a chart on a dashboard).

    Hi Raz

I have made the field, but how do I convert the 80 in probability into something useful, like 0,8? Or how do I use % in the formula?

    Regards Jan

    Hi Scott

You're right, but how do you accomplish that??

I can't get it to work...

    Regards Jan
