inventory valuation in projects

In the projects module the costing system is standard as seen in the image. This is true whenever I place a sales order. Does anyone know how to modify the costing system to FIFO or modify the cost in the sales order? The product already has the FIFO costing method but in the projects module it uses the standard one. thank you so much!
