Receiving PDF format reports in winmail.dat format in mail

I have generated report documents like sales invoices or customer invoices from AX and then i am saving it as PDF to send it in emails to our clients as an attachment. once they receive the mail, when they are opening that attached file they are getting it in "winmail.dat"

I followed this below link but it din't helped.

Hi

The most likely scenario is the file you generated doesn't have an extension.

Just double check the file send has *.pdf
