Error trying to access Email Configuration - Mailboxes

Hi,

Has anyone ever encountered this problem6 When trying to access Maiboxes, we get a generic error message. Other menu items are available (Email Server Profiles, etc.) but we can't acces mailboxes.

The only way to browse them now is to use Advanced Find...

Then we get this message:

Are you trying this action with System Adminstrator user or not,

and if you are using Dynamics 365 On Primise would you try to get the event viewer errors by the following steps:-

- Open the server, click start write event viewer in the search box.

- Open the event viewer find in Windows Logs-> Application.

if there is no luck with that try to get CRM tracing

Have you tried logging in with a different system admin ID? Did anything change before this happened? Did someone play with the sitemap? IF all the above is not the issue, I would contact Microsoft as I would think something got corrupt as you can access all this via Advanced find.

Nothing changed before this happened. No update on the sitemap either.

I logged into the CRM as a different system admin, and everything works as it should. So I guess the problem is with my own user. I tried removing all my permissions and reinstate them. No luck. I also deactivated my user, and reactivated it. Still no luck.

So I guess right now, my only solution is to use another user or use Advanced Find. Unless you have other ideas as to what I could try?
