Hello Nav Experts,
Our Nav 2013 R2 instance has been working without any glitches for the past 5 years. our OS is MS 2008 Server. Today, all of a sudden, the Nav instance started to crash with below error taken from Event Viewer - System:
The Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server [PROD] service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 60000 milliseconds: Restart the service.
The event ID is 7031.
It would crash and after we restart, it would crash again after a few minutes. This went on and on for about 1 1/2 hours until we decided to restart both the Nav Server as well as our Sql Server.
We didn't really make any major mods in our NAV in the past day or two. There was no network glitch as confirmed by our Network administrators. I didn't see any errors in the Sql Server even viewer.
So I am trying to figure out why we had this problem all of a sudden. We are using scan guns (adcs) to do our inventory. But we did this last year and the year before that and not run into any errors.
Any input form you would be highly appreciated.
