Change owner of Dashboards, Reports and Views

Hi,

I do have few Dashboards, Reports and Views created by few users and they shared to few users. Now they left the company and we would like to deactivate their account from CRM. If we do this then it will impact on all reports, Dashboards and Views.

I can fetch list of all Dashboards, Reports and Views, but should I update the owner or Do I need to create new?

Please suggest as soon as possible.

    If they are already shared, to other users (and the update and share permission is also shared), then deactivating the original user will not affect anything, so you can leave them as they are.

    Alternatively, you can use Reassign Records to reassign all records owned by a user to a different user, and this will include these records

    Hi,

    Since it is already share there wont be any impact to reports and view, but based on level of sharing you will be impacted with the future enhancements so, make sure you have full permissions or better to get owned

    Hi,

    User 'Personal User Views Migration' in XRM Tool box.

    Works really well and means you can edit shared views owned by anyone who's left.
