Warehouse Management Shipment Question

(0) ShareShare

Posted on by

I am trying to find all the invoices that have been shipped for a certain time period with no Miscellaneous charges (I can get this from custinvoicejour.

I am linking the custinvoicejour.salesid with the WHSShipmentTable.ordernum with a status of shipped.

But I've found that the whsLoadline.ordernum can differ from the WHSShipmentTable.ordernum.  Can anyone explain why this is the case?

Thanks

Brian

Could it be similar issue like the summary update?

A load can have multiple shipments and a shipment can have multiple loads. So the header has one field that should have multiple references and thus only refer to one. Like an invoice header for multiple sales orders will only list one of the sales orders it references...

You would like to look at the line level to find shipping time, but isn't it much better to just go to custpackingslip instead?

WHSLoadLine = Shipment lines (and Load lines).

It is possible to put multiple sales orders on to a single shipment, if the sales orders are for the same customer/address/mode of delivery (from memory). If you look at one of the Shipments (where the order number of the header is different from one of its lines), and those sales orders, is this what has happened?

Yes, it seems to be happening only with our intercompany orders...I guess I must reference these differently than the non-intercompany orders.
