Code editor window cannot show Chinese character correctly on windows 7

Dear guys, when I input Chinese character in x++ code editor, all becomes unrecognized word  like this:

2019_2D00_5_2D00_15-15_2D00_22_2D00_57.png

i guess it's problem of some font settings. In user option I changed all the font to Chinese based font, but problem remains the same.

Can anyone tell me where to change the code editor font, certainly including font size?

I don't think you can change the code editor font in AX2012. And the problem is not about the font but the charset - I guess the Chinese characters that you try to use are simply not available in (or recognized by) the charset that is used in the code editor (and compiler).

Also font size can't be changed but you can change the zoom level in the selection box near the bottom left of the code editor.

By the way, if I look up some Chinese label in AX label editor, I can copy paste it to the code editor. So at least these characters are recognized.

Thanks NIkolaos, so it seems no way to fix this currently. On windows 10 it has no this problem. I may transfer my work to windows 10.

But I use windows 7 because windows 10 has it's own problem with Chinese font.

When I preview the SSRS report on screen the Chinese character again was shown incorrectly:

    2019_2D00_5_2D00_15-15_2D00_44_2D00_41.png

All AX2012 SSRS report use font Segoe UI by default. Segoe does not support Chinese character, what we can do is to change the necessary reports one by one.

While on windows 7 the report preview display correctly. So the issue could be some failure from system font fall back.

You could create a support request for Microsoft if the reports are not showing correctly.
