Hi,
I am trying to update my vm dev environment from Version 10.0.12 to 13.
It keeps failing in step 27 with the following description: Update script for service model: DevToolsService on machine....
and on the error log I only get "No User exists for *"
any idea?

Have you installed .NET Framework 4.7.2 Runtime before the update and restarted VM?

Like Sergei mentioned, there is dependency from the development tools to use .NET 4.7.2. The new DEV VMs starting from version 10.0.13 will have also Visual Studio 2017 pre-installed. It would also be an option to deploy a new Dev VM instead of updating the current one.

Please accept the suggestions given to install .NET Framework 4.7.2 then resume the update.
Thanks to everyone, I did update the framework. and I was able to update the environment.
What do you mean visual studio 2017?
I logged into the server, but there was only 2015. Do I need to install it?
It's better you install VS 2017 as support for VS 2015 will be deprecated in April, 2021. The new VMs deployed from LCS have VS 2017 installed already.
