Set up auto email to vendors when vendor payment is made in D365 F&O

Hello,

I want to set automatic email to vendor when vendor payment is made to the particular vendor. How can I set up in D365 F&O?

Hi,

Layan suggested using alerts. Alerts can't get the email addresses from the vendor details.

I would suggest having a look at Power Automate flows. You can build a flow looping through the payment journal lines. You can then find the vendor details and send an email notification for each vendor payment.

Ah ok i missed the part that it needs to be sent for each vendor related to the payment.

You could also do customization by code, which is to send an email whenever the payment is made (in case you want it real time)
