Item - Bar Code upload 'BARCODESETUPID' function

Hi, I am building the upload template 'Item - bar code' and stuck on whether this needs to be populated with the relevant barcode language in column 'BARCODESETUPID'?

I will not be printing barcodes and the PDT is already scanning and deciphering the barcode... Should this mean that BARCODSERUPID is not required to be populated?

Looking on the fields it appears it also is not a mandatory field:

Hi,

You will need to setup the Barcode in D365FO and use the same in upload file as well. There are many barcode standards, if you don't set it up how will the system understand barcode type.

Our Mobile scanner is decoding the barcode.

n.b. we are not using any masking

Hi,

Then you can create a new barcode setup with 'No Bar code' type and then use it in your upload.
