Item with line type "Phantom" does not explode in batch order picking list

Hello everyone,

I need some help on this.

We created an item (Item X) with 3 approved and activated formulas in 3 sites (Site 1, Site 2, Site 3).

We add Item X to BOM line for item A with line type "Phantom".

When we create a BOD of item A for Site 2, item X should explode its BOM from Site 2 in picking list.

At first, we created a BOD for item A, item X explodes. But in some case, item X did not explode without any revisions to formulas.

Our setup in BOM/Formula line type of item X is in Phantom. Item X setup in Engineer tab is also Phantom.

This there something I missed? Or is this a system bug?

    What does BOD mean?

    Do you compare the difference between different BODs?

    Could you share the screenshots of the setup? Which version are you using?
