It would not work as for emails and appointments you are using outlook forms and not CRM.

On your outlook client go to personal options>>general tab>>select which forms to use>>checkmark appointments & emails>>click ok

or else, when you open an appointment/email in outlook>>click on the button view in CRM, to make it work

I tried your First option, but users are familiar with Outlook Default email form. so, I  am thinking about  your option 2 but I can't see 'View in CRM' button in default outlook email form, where as I was able to see in appointment.  could you please let me know how to enable that button?

Above link was helpful, Thanks. But I would like to see 'View in CRM' button in CRM ribbon besides the 'Untrack' button, not on Quick access tool bar. could you please let me know how can I enable it in CRM ribbon.
