FetchXML - Link entity From="stringValue" to="GUID"

Hello,

My question is straightforward, how come Dynamics 365 online does not allow to link entity in FetchXML by using string as a From value and GUID as To value? Have no problems doing this on the on-premise deployment of D365.

To be honest it seems that this has started after 8.2.1.344 Dynamics 365 version.

By the way, described FetchXML was working just fine last week, it just started causing problems today.
