how to implement the dynamic marketing list behavior (prompt the user for a query) on a custom entity?

Hi,

I want to implement a feature on a custom entity which is the same as the dynamic member list in a marketing list.

I mean:

I want to open a dialog box where the user can create some filters and I'll save it in my custom entity.

in my case, I want to create a list of risk management rules. the user will create the rules he wants on top of the sales stored in the CRM.

I want to create these rules like we can create a dynamic list of members in the marketing interface.

Hi,

Thank you for your query.

There is no way you can implement this using out-of-the-box features.

You have to create a custom control (an HTML web resource/PCF), however, this is a considerable effort.

Why don't users create Saved Views (personal views) using Advanced Find, you can retrieve these views from the SavedQuery entity.

This way, you do not have to design any control, you can use fetchxml of the saved view to implementing your rules.

its my alternative option, but if the gui is here through a dynamic marketing list, and through the right filter panel in the list views, I expected to be able to reuse it.

like calling an existing HTML web resource.

I would add to Wahaj Rashid's response that, depending on what these rules are intended to accomplish, you would potentially be needing to create mulriple entities with relationships and business rules and possibly custom js and so on. All doable, of course. But certainly not a minor effort.

The controls/HTML resources are not useable.

Please note, this platform supports custom web resources and PCF controls.
