Tax code must be entered if account number is a tax account

Hello

While posting a General Journal ,I am getting this error "Tax code must be entered if account number is a tax account" I have created new GL for tax and I am transferring the balance from old GL to New GL account.

    Hello Shabah,

    The accounts that you are using must be accounts that are classified as sales tax accounts.

    You can check this in the Chart of Account when you open the account.

    Postings on those accounts cannot be made directly but require that you enter a tax code in the general tab of the journal.

    Enter the allowed/correct tax code in the general tab - sales tax code field and try posting again.
