Remove / Disable delete on Sales Order to all but one user

Dear

I want to suppress or disable the "Delete" button on Sales order in a certain security role and only give it delete grant to one person,

I have seen a lot of ways to do this in the forum, but what is the classical way to do this ?

using XDS is adviced in 2012.

I believe it can be done without any XDS.

all you need to do following

1) for each security y role remove delete permission. you can do this easily by Security Development Tool

2) create a privilege only for purpose of 'Deleting SO'

3) create a new role and drag privilege (#2) to this newly created role(#3)

4) assign this role(#3) to the user

you can also 'Disable Delete' for all roles, by overriding permission. But better way is to manage it by menu items.

1. Disable Delete for all roles by overriding permission

2. Managing delete from the Menu Item

Open security role, on which you want to put restriction. Click on Override permission and override permission for appropriate table from Full Access to Read only.

The other way, which is easy to do, is 'Security Development Tool' you have to open specific role in this tool and you can set permission on selected role without going into AOT

Hi Sohaib.I have two user (user1,User2) ,User1 can be deleted And the other can not remove (Exsample:role sales order) How do I assign a roll for each؟
