Sales Order holds -User is not authorized to clear hold code

Hi,

After I place an order on hold, I am getting the message when I try to cleat it out 'User is not authorized to clear hold code'. I am system administrator, at the same time I don't see a place to define sales order hold removal as a permission.

Unless I need to dig in in the user role privileges...?

Are you part of the role which is define on the hold code ?

I'm not sure that there was an answer here...

I am facing the same issue.

I am set up with System Administrator.

The Hold Code is set up with a specific "Custom" Supervisor role.

The "Custom" Supervisor role has the specific Duty "Maintain sales order holds".

The Privileges beneath the Duty remain as set to GRANT for all options.

I navigated through the Security Diagnostics and found the specific Privilege that needs to be enacted - MCRHOLDCODETRANSSOCREATE - which all options are set to GRANT...

What is wrong?

You need to give yourself that custom role. Even if you're a system Administrator.

Remove the Role from the Order hold codes and it will work :)
