Why Microsoft Azure AppFabric SDK V1.0. is listed as required for CRM Outlook?

I have used CRM for outllook without this ("Microsoft Azure AppFabric SDK") component and the installation/configuration did not add this component? I do not have any custom Azure Service end point.

Do I need to install this Component?

    My name is Andres Guzman, I'm glad to help you

    The list of software requirement, assuming that you are installing CRM 2015 for Outlook are the next:

    technet.microsoft.com/.../hh699818.aspx

    Now, the text shows the next info:

    "Additional Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook software requirements

    If needed, the following software will be installed by Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook Setup:"

    Then, the system automatically will download and install the components required to complete the installation in Offline mode.

    Personally, I've never seen this component installed in a CRM for Outlook.

    Please verify to install first CRM for Outlook without Offline mode, configure, validate the access to CRM and then, Go Offline

    If you get any error after this procedure, just share your error message to try to solve the specific issue.
