Good afternoon,
What im aiming to do is on the sending of an email (either in real time or outbound) - It uses the contact to lookup against a table called "Application Status" and pulls back all of the applications that the person has with my company.
As an additional to this - the next level would then be that I can filter those applications by status i.e. if "status" eq "accepted" OR "Pending" then it returns those results and not the ones that don't fit that criteria.
I tried to use the personalisation on Real time marketing but it told me I had to use a specific record for the personalisation and it wont return the list of related records.
Any help is appreciated.
Cheers,
If I understand the scenario correctly, you have 1:Many relation between Contact and Application status and you want to include information from the Application Status tables for only those related records that meet certain conditions. This would be "Filtered list" - we recently released this feature in preview. Please see New and upcoming features (Dynamics 365 Marketing) | Microsoft Learn for December release sub-section “Fine-tune email communications with filtered lists”
Let us know if this meets your needs. Thanks
Hi JoshDB,
I have an idea: use the lookup view to filter out the records,
Send it out as a table in the HTML of an email, which can be done using power automate,
but not in marketing.
