Upgrade from ADX Studio Portal to Dynamics Portal

We are using the ADX Studios portal solution and I need to upgrade to the newer dynamics portal. Has anyone been through this process? Is there a way to automate this? Microsoft support have suggested that it is not possible yet and I would need to create the portal from scratch again.

I have read a couple of blogs that suggest it is possible using a PowerShell script but this appears to only work if you use the unsupported one-off download of the Portal code base. I'm not sure this is suitable as I have been instructed to ensure that our solution is always supported.

Yes..Dynamics CRM portal is very similar to AdxPortal.You can copy paste code and remove some error from Portal Solution .You would get very small errors related to Class name ,method name .Till now ..as per my knowledge we dont have any tool to automate this Process.

AFAIK, there is no automation for this.

If you are able to upgrade your ADX Portal to the Offline Portal that Microsoft Provided, you might be able to run a data migration process to import your portal data.

Besides that there is no direct way of migrating an ADX Portal to a Microsoft Portal.
