Pass an external variable to a VOC survey

We have a requirement for stakeholders to submit a Dynamics VOC survey response via clicking a button on an external system once they have completed their transaction. We want to be able to record the external system's transaction number in the survey results as a hidden field, from which we will generate tasks based on the individual responses.

We are not generating an email containing a link to the survey, rather the link will be a button within the external system.

We can create the link using the anonymous survey URL and get the survey to successfully appear, however what we haven't been able to do is pass the transaction number into the survey. Is this possible?

Hi,

I don't think you will be able to pass custom data to VOC , but it will be better if you check with Microsoft if anything can be done in this direction as there is very less documentation available for VOC.
