Posted on by 4,359

Hi Community,

May I ask under Lines in Sales or Purchase orders, how do I add more "Types" such as Item, G/L Account?

Hi, This needs to be customized, the following is an example of Extension development in Business Central.
But there are some differences in NAV, because Type in NAV is Option Type, but I hope it can give you some reference.

    Hope this helps as well.

    Thanks.

You can't add more types there. This is not a configurable setup.

You could do it in code, but i would advise you not to do that because it will basically mean you will have to implement complete support for it in all posting routines.

What would be the business need for adding options there?
