Editable Grid not showing edit options - can't double click (Dynamics Portal)

Hi, 

I have created a subgrid on a form and am only showing this tab with the subgrid on the web page. 

I have added the correct metadata for the grid, I can see the create button but cannot double click on the items in the subgrid. I have associated an entity form and that form uses a a query string to associate the record.

If I add a create button this works fine with a create form.

I am not using entity permissions.

    Hi Davina,

    It looks like Entity Permission issue. To Edit and Delete the record, you must have entity permission for these entity.

    Hi Davina,

    Anytime I have run into this same issue I usually verify that I have entity permissions setup correctly for the specific entity you have the Entity Form built for. In this case, I would think you do not have the Edit permissions setup and so it won't actually show the Edit tab.

    Can you verify that you do have Edit permissions on the entity the Entity Form is for? Easiest would be to just create a new Global permission and set everything accordingly to see if that fixes it, then figure out how to include the Edit permission in your existing setup.

    I have got this working by using Details on the grid configuration metadata options which gives me an arrow then can click to open the record but still wonder why the edit doesn't work with double click
