Changing unit prices on received purchase orders

We have purchase orders that have been received with estimated unit prices. When matching the invoice, how do you change a unit price after the recieving document has been posted with the estimated price? I have been able to go in and change the unit price, but unable to change the distribution and post.

Vic, you have to change the account distributions at the line item level.  Click on a line item, then click on the little blue arrow to the right of the Item Number header.  That opens the Line Item Detail window where you can update the distributions.

    Leslie,

Thanks for the response. This is checked and we can edit quantities and unit prices in the invoice match. We just can't change the account distributions to allow us to post.

Do you the  'Allow Editing of Costs in Receiving'  checked in Purchase Order Processing Setup ?Go to Purchasing>>Setup>>Purchase Order Processing.

Are you using average perpetual costing?

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
