ERROR WHEN COMPILING REPORT

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by

Hey,

I am getting error in navision 2013 when I am compiling my report in given function:

UpdateRequestForm

You have specified an unknown variable. ENABLED Define the variable under 'Global C/AL symbols'.

As my databse is converted from 2009 to 2013 so i can't design the report even until it is upgraded.

How to solve it?

Thanks.

The ideal scenario would be to not have conflicting code between versions. This means using only code that is accepted by both NAV2009 and NAV2013. If that is not the case then you would probably be wise to try to remove all the conflicting function calls before the database is converted and then redesign the code of the upgraded report in order to redo what you lost by removing the code.

If it is too late to do either of those things, you could try exporting the report as a .txt file and opening the file in order to manually comment those conflicting function calls. Once that's done import it back.

If you can't design the report it might be that it belongs to an add-on. In that case you will have to contact the provider of that add-on in order to have them upgrade that report for you.
