We just moved to GP2013 Web Client. One of my users is trying to do an Analytical Accounting query and we get a message that states that Excel is not installed on this machine. the local workstation has Excel 2010 and I also installed Excel on the backend IIS server. No fix. Any ideas as to what I am missing.

I hope you are querying through Distribution Query wizard or Multi Level Query wizard,
Exporting to excel is not available in AA for GP2013 (Web Client), hope you have to wait for some more time till SP3 or greater version is released,
As a workaround you will be able to generate Excel report through Desktop client.

I guess I would start with maybe a Process Monitor and see what that tells me. Have you tried to uninstall/reinstall Excel? On the machines that work do they have the same version of Excel on them?
