Hello,

I am getting an error while installing system components for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2016 Bootstrapper, the error details are as follows:

Setup has detected that the publisher of file 'C:\Users\ADMINI~1.HLG\AppData\Local\Temp\1\VSD62C5.tmp\DexteritySharedComponents\Microsoft_Dexterity16_SharedComponents-KB3200323-ENU.msp' cannot be verified.

See the setup log file located at 'C:\Users\ADMINI~1.HLG\AppData\Local\Temp\1\VSD62C5.tmp\install.log' for more information.

I extracted following details from install.log file:

Copying from 'E:\GP2016 UPGRADE\UPGRADE SOFTWARES\MDGP2016_R2_DVD_ENUS\MDGP2016_R2_DVD_ENUS\redist\DexteritySharedComponents\Microsoft_Dexterity16_SharedComponents-KB3200323-ENU.msp' to 'C:\Users\ADMINI~1.HLG\AppData\Local\Temp\1\VSDC644.tmp\DexteritySharedComponents\Microsoft_Dexterity16_SharedComponents-KB3200323-ENU.msp'

Verifying file integrity of C:\Users\ADMINI~1.HLG\AppData\Local\Temp\1\VSDC644.tmp\DexteritySharedComponents\Microsoft_Dexterity16_SharedComponents-KB3200323-ENU.msp

WinVerifyTrust returned -2146762486

File not trusted

Error: Setup has detected that the publisher of file 'C:\Users\ADMINI~1.HLG\AppData\Local\Temp\1\VSDC644.tmp\DexteritySharedComponents\Microsoft_Dexterity16_SharedComponents-KB3200323-ENU.msp' cannot be verified.

Thanks,

Aubrey

It sounds you are trying to run the install from within a zip file or from a remote drive. If this is the case, I suggest you extract the zip file or move the installation files locally.

Mariano, I have to agree - I have been trying to be 'tidy' in my installations and only have one copy of the installation folder - but I run into this more often now - so I am forced in many cases to drop a copy of the code folder on the local computer.  Once that is done I am able to get past the error - each time - without fail.

    Hi Mariano,

All the installation files are in the local computer and they are not zipped. I managed to find a way around it though, I downloaded and installed system components individually first then the setup executed well. Thanks
