Different Double Opt-In Settings for Newsletter Subscription

Hi all,

my client has several different Business Units with different Company Names / E-Mail Adresses / Physical Addresses etc.

For every different Business Unit they have an own Newsletter subscription list in Dynamics 365 Marketing. We activated Double Opt In functionality, so that every person who signs up for the newsletter gets the automatic Douple Opt In e-mails which is working fine so far.

Currently every Client who signs up for one of these different kind of Newsletters gets the same Confirmation E-Mails which is not alright, as all Business Units are even having different kinds of data security Information, terms and conditions etc.

Therefore I would like to have different kinds of double opt in Settings. Technically I could create them, as I have the Option to create more then one Marketing Setting in the Default Marketing Settings Tab, but I don't see any chance to connect different Kinds of Marketing Settings to the different Newsletter Scenarios.

Does anyone have an idea how I can manage to have different kind of confirmation E-Mails for the different subscription lists?

Thank you very much in Advance.

Best regards,

Daniel

    Hey Daniel,

When you're creating the customer journeys for each of the separate audiences, you can set the Content Settings at the journey level, and thus achieve a separate set of information on each separate journey. you can also extend the Content Settings record to have specific links to T&C, and language that is specific to a particular business unit. You can also set ownership at the BU level, so that each business unit can own their own Content Settings.

Please let me know if this helps

    Thanks,
