Moving from SQL 2005 to SQL 2008 R2

We are looking to upgrade our SQL from 2005 EE to 2008 R2 EE.  Has anyone ever done this? If so are there any issues with moving from 05 to 08?  Do we have to run in compatibility mode when going to 08 R2 or can it run in the native R2?

    I don't think you have to do anything to the SL databases other than back them up on the 2005 server and restore them on the 2008 server.

    You will need to run in compatability mode 90 (SQL 2005) for MS support.
