Hi all.
My client is currently using Dynamics 9.0 On-Premises and is missing the bulk editing features to be able to change multiple fields that are already present Dynamics 8.2. In the 'classic' view, they are able to bulk edit leads by selecting multiple leads and clicking on edit in the ribbon, but in the 'unified' view, selecting multiple leads does not show the edit button in the ribbon.
I have seen that Dynamics 9.1 On-Premises was released by Microsoft not too long ago which includes many enhancements, one being ‘improved data management with record sharing, bulk edit and merge capabilities’, which I think will add back this functionality into the unified view.
Would anyone be able to confirm for me that this update adds this functionality in?
Thanks
Thank you very much
Yes 9.1 on-premises has the bulk edit feature enabled for contacts. screenshot below from my demo environment.
Quick bump on this thread to see if anyone has deployed 9.1 on-prem and can confirm they can switch on the hybrid experience to enable bulk editing?
Hi,
Can anyone confirm if Bulk Editing (leads, contacts, accounts etc) is possible on Dynamics 9.1 On Premises?
Hi Leah,
Yes I'd expect it to, however I just need to have it confirmed. My client requires confirmation that 9.1 will add this functionality before we proceed with the upgrade steps.
Has anyone deployed 9.1 On Premises and can Bulk Edit Leads (etc) in Unified Views?
Hi Molecular,
I have clicking the link you provided, I found that it is microsoft document.
And it mentioned that the bulk edit function is new for Unified Interface in on-premise, so it is to be expected.
Regards,
Leah Ju
