Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Archived)

Any import with a date returns error upon importing. Including keying in the dates manually in excel online

When importing any excel file into Dynamics 365 including csv and txt delimited tabs I get the error saying the date is in an invalid format. I tried clicking on Export to excel and open with excel online and when it does and I key in a new record and insert the date (type it out) then click Save to dynamics it returns the same error.

Any suggestions?

    If it says the date in not in correct format, that means it is not. Check the date format of CRM from options (top right corner). Convert the date column to have same format and then upload.

    The system settings had English US settings but personal settings had other format. So the system pulls the data in US format and when the record is created it throws an error because system doesn't match personal.

    Upon changing personal date settings format to US the import was ok.

    This was done by going to the Settings top right then options then Formats..
