Wrong font being used on printed text-based reports

We have 3 workstations with GP 2013 installed (2 Windows 7 32-bit and 1 Windows 7 64-bit).  All three have Office 2013.

On the 64-bit workstation, text-reports appear on screen in the correct font (Courier New), but print using Orator Std.  Even when using identical DEX.ini files, the issue remains and only affects the single PC.  We've tried various fonts via the "FontCourier New" DEX.ini switch (changes on-screen font, but not printed font), and have tried various "Tolerance" switches in DEX.ini (doesn't impact printouts).  We've tried multiple printers (both network and local), as well as multiple printer drivers (UFR vs PCL6).

Below are similar sections from two different DebugLog.txt files, one from a PC that prints properly, the other from the PC that doesn't print properly.

Can anyone tell me why GP has selected "Orator Std" as the default font and why it won't just use Courier New?  This only affects text-based reports, which unfortunately means it affects the checks we print.  Yes, Courier New is installed on the problem PC, and yes, I can print from Notepad using Courier New and it looks fine (on multiple printers).  I'm pretty sure our reseller is stumped here, so any help on correcting this issue would be appreciated.

RE: Wrong font being used on printed text-based reports

There is a problem with Windows 7 64 bit.   I dived through several forums to come up with a fix, which you could implement.  Try the following - start with backing up your registry/making a restore point.

Copy and paste this to something like addFont.reg file

    ------

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts]

    "Tahoma (TrueType)"="tahoma.ttf"

    "Courier New (TrueType)"="cour.ttf"

    "Verdana (TrueType)"="verdana.ttf"

    "Arial (TrueType)"="arial.ttf"

    "Arial Narrow (TrueType)"="arialn.ttf"

    "Arial Bold (TrueType)"="arialbd.ttf"

    "Lucida Console (TrueType)"="lucon.ttf"

    "Trebuched MS (TrueType)"="trebuc.ttf"

    "Times New Roman (TrueType)"="times.ttf"

    "Marlett (TrueType)"="marlett.ttf"

    ------
