After migration from FRx to Management Reporter I get these errors:

The operation could not be completed due to a failure on the source system (Dynamics GP 2010 SP2)

The company calendar couldn't be retrieved from the source system.

    RE: Error Management Reporter

I just applied the latest hotfix/SP to MR which fixed the problem.

    Hi Rheiner,

Did you ever get a fix to the error message?  Do you mind sharing?

    Thanks

I was told the error " The company calendar couldn't be retrieved from the source system." is a known issue. I'll try the fix that was provided to me later today. If it works, i'll share it here.

    Having the same problem here.

Running MR 2.0..1663.3, Fresh install, Fresh conversion from FRx

Tried closing all fiscal periods, still got the same message.

    Event viewer shows:

The operation could not be completed due to a problem in the data provider framework.

    Followed by:

Message: Microsoft.Dynamics.Performance.DataProvider.Core.ValidationException: The collection cannot be empty.  At least one object must be present in the collection. \r\nMissing object type: GLCalendar

    Thanks,

    Steven Vallarian

    Hi Anton,

Can you check a few things for me on this?

    1. In GP navigate to Tools | Setup | Company | Fiscal Periods

    2. Verify if there all years are closed, and no year as an open period.

    3. This may be on the local machine or on the server, but open up the Windows Event Viewer in the Application log. See if you can get a more specific error message. Usually the first 2-3 lines of th eerror will have a more specific area of the code where the error occurs.

    4. Can you confirm you are on Management Reporter FP1? Please provide your version number from Help | About in MR.

    Thanks

    Ryan
