Subgrid - filter records shown on clicking plus button

I need to be able to filter the records shown on clicking the + button.  To only show records parented by a field on the main form.

Is this possible in Dynamics CRM?  I know it's unsupported.

    Hi Harjit,

    Thank you for posting your question on the community forum.

    When you say clicking on "+" button, do you mean when you are adding an existing record to the grid?

    If so, the list of records that are displayed are by default for the Lookup View of that entity, in other words, on my Account entity, I clicked on "Add existing Contact" button and then this is what is displayed:

    If you click on "Change View" you can choose the view that contains the filtering that you require:

    If this doesn't help, kindly provide more details about the scenario that you have and examples of what you would like to achieve.
