We have for example a `work order` form which has a tab `time entries` when clicking on `add time entry` we do get a form, but I would like to use a different form.
Where can I configure which form is used for which view?
What form the user gets is dependent on what's available in the app, their security role and if quick create form is enabled for the entity.
You could tweak this with JavaScript, but I do not recommend doing so.
Thanks for your reply.. I have created a custom model driven app and I try to use the original fields only together with customized forms/views which only contain the information that we are using.
I'm able to create forms and views and restrict the app to only use these views. But I don't know how I can set which of the forms should be used coming from a different form or view. Like for example when I am on a work order screen, I would like to use the `quick input` form on the right side when adding new hours and now openining a entire new window.
Can I configure this somehow?
Yes, you could enable quick create on the entity workorder service and configure the quick create form for that entity.
