We have our Dynamics GP working in Euro as our primary office is in Ireland and we have a branch in UK.
Within Dynamics we use sites to separate transactions for the two and when currently running the VAT daybook reports for the UK branch we have to export the data to get the GB£ values for filing the return.
If was to run through the VAT MTD it would give me all the values in Euros and I was looking at the VAT MTD instructions and prior to submitting there is the option to change the values.
One of the other setup steps is have the company VAT number in the Tax Registration field on the company setup, however currently in this screen we have our Irish VAT number.
Does anyone know if I could change the tax registration field temporarily, run the MTD process and enter the GB£ values prior to submitting and then change the tax registration back again?
I cant change the tax registration permanently as it would mean having to change a lot of reports.
