I need your help in this one.
I want to receive an alert if a specific location become empty, Even if the item is stored in another location.
I've been doing research for a while now and all the solution consider the whole item inventory ' master planning, critical on-hand report' and it's not my case.
The method i developed was to create a custom alert on the newly created replenishment work ofc after setting a Min/Max replenishment batch job for the desired location.
And it's not exactly what our client need, i'd be happy if there's any other approach or angle that slipped my eyes.

I can't see how to achieve this using alerts in D365F&O. There is an event (inventory transaction deduction) and a condition (no inventory in the specific location). It would have to be custom. An alternative would be using PowerAutomate where the D365F&O alert (change in from InventTrans?) will cause the condition (total of on-hand for items = 0) to be verified and send a message when if "true". Or have PowerAutomate run on a schedule to verify inventory for a specific list of locations and send an alert when total on-hand=0.
