ER - How to get an extended field into Purchase order electronic report?

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by 2

I have developed a customization where I added a new field to PurchTable. The field holds an address.

I need to guarantee that the field can be used in the Electronic Report to be used in the future for a purchase order confirmation report. How can I add the field or use it on the electronic report configuration?

Thank you.

Tiago

You should be able to see your new field in  your model used by Po confirmation report. Are you not able to see it ?

Can you provide some screen shot about what you have done and where you are looking at model to see the field?

    Hi Sukrut,

I created a model based on the standard "Order model":

You have created your own model which is fine  but you are looking at the model designer not the model mapping designer . Create  your own configuration of model mapping and then go  in the model mapping designer where you will see all the datasorces which are  mapped to the data model. In the datasource look for puchtable and see if you are able to see your new field. Once you do mapping of your field to model , you can use field fromm your model on your report

Remember unless you have a logic to fill out that field somewhere  , data is not going tobe populated on the report even if you map that field to your data model and then used in a report format.
