I am running an MRP regeneration and I receive what appears to be a duplicate suggestion to purchase.

    Working on it.  Just added another article  ;)

    Look at the PO status at the bottom of the PO.  If it says Change Order then a change was entered but NOT printed.

    thank you Richard.  I cannot be convinced they reprinted the PO even though they say they did.  You need to add an Understanding MRP (with all its quirks) to your library!

    Did you reprint the PO?  ONLY when the PO is printed is the quantity on order actually updated.  Increasing an existing PO is a valid procedure to obtain the parts but you must reprint the document for MRP to know of the new quantity on order.

    Also, is the due date (actually date required) on the PO earlier than the need date of the item?  If you need it before the PO is scheduled to delivery the goods, MRP will request another batch of goods be ordered in a timely manner.
