Couldn't show target invite's (contact) fields in Portal invitation mail while sending Group Invitation

Hello,

I have configured Send Invitation workflow > Mail template to show Invite's (contact), like below picture.

When I am executing Send Invitation workflow, the actual mail sent like image below.

However, I have set FirstName, and LastName set for target Invite. I couldn't Identify the cause. There is another problem I facing, I created separate issue here - https://community.dynamics.com/crm/f/117/t/270961

I doubt it is related with each other.

Please let me know if someone has solution.

Thanks,

Ashish

    Hi,

try to remove the dynamics value inside the email body,  open another browsers and add in the dynamics value.

If this doesn't work , you might need to raise a ticket to Microsoft since this is Online version.

    Hi Ashish,

When you send invitation to the group, invitees (i.e. contacts) are stored in a "Invited Contacts" subgrid which is a many to many relation between contact & invitation. It doesn't store the contact in the Invitee lookup.

Hence in your email when you use firstname from invite contact field, it returns blank as the field itself is blank.

I ran into the same issue and ended up removing the firstname/lastname from the email for group invitations.

    Hope this helps.
