In Dynamics 365 CRM, I have created an Account which have Parent Account lookup. I am creating a Parent Account with option “New Account” on that lookup. When I click on the search for a Parent Account and then hit New to add a new Account to be the current Account's Parent. It puts the current account into each of the Account lookup fields and then we end up with a circular reference.
Also, receiving below error message as “You are attempting to create a parent or link a record with itself. This would create a circular reference, which is not allowed. You must select a different parent.”
Anyone else facing the issue? It would be helpful if provide any solution/assistance for the same.
